“(6A) Regulations under subsection (4) may make provision about cases where the ICIR concludes its enquiries into a death but is unable to produce and give a report about the death under section 76(2) before the end of the operational period, including provision postponing the application of subsection (1) to information about the death and related records until the ICIR gives the report.”—(Chris Bryant.)
