The hon. Gentleman talks about business. We know what his plan for business is. This is the man who opposed the minimum wage and said that it was “simply something that legislators pass to make themselves feel good.” Let me tell him that raising the minimum wage does not make us feel good; it changes lives. Labour is proud of how we are supporting small business. On small business, we are creating hospitality zones to cut red tape, creating greater licensing freedoms, which are very important, and tackling late payments. All of that is supporting business. That is a far cry from what small business saw before.
