Point of Order

Contribution

On a point of order, Madam Deputy Speaker. The right hon. and learned Member for Fareham and Waterlooville (Suella Braverman) claimed twice during today’s debate that 27 young non-EU migrants have been hired for every young Brit since 2020, but the reality is very different. The report that the right hon. and learned Member was referring to has been debunked. If the actual numbers of employed young people, not the increases in the number of payrolled young people, are used, 10 UK under-25s are employed for every one non-EU national. I ask for your advice, Madam Deputy Speaker, on how Members of this House can be asked to correct the record.
