446: Clause 182, page 216, line 11, leave out subsection (2) and insert— “(2) The following do not apply to a complaint under this Chapter—(a) section 127 of the Magistrates’ Courts Act 1980 (time limit for complaints etc);(b) Article 78(1) of the Magistrates’ Courts (Northern Ireland) Order 1981 (S.I. 1981/1675 (N.I. 26)) (time limit for complaints).”Member’s explanatory statement This amendment disapplies the time limit for applications to a magistrates’ court in Northern Ireland (as well as in England and Wales).
