45: Schedule 2, page 116, line 20, at end insert— “2A In section 12D of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 (contents of spatial development strategy), after subsection (3) insert—“(3A) A spatial development strategy must identify the policies which are of strategic importance in order to meet the local growth priorities identified in the relevant local growth plan for that strategic area.””Member’s explanatory statement This amendment links the local growth plan to the preparation of the spatial development strategy.
