English Devolution and Community Empowerment Bill

In our opinion, this amendment would strengthen the Bill. It supports the Government’s stated ambition for meaningful, effective devolution and would help ensure that new strategic authorities are built on firm foundations and succeed. For those reasons, we are pleased to support this amendment.
