142: Schedule 24, page 262, line 32, at end insert— “1A In section 3 (licensing authorities), after subsection (1) insert—“(1A) In this Act, “London licensing authority” means each of the following licensing authorities—(a) the council of a London borough,(b) the Common Council of the City of London,(c) the Sub-Treasurer of the Inner Temple, or(d) the Under-Treasurer of the Middle Temple.”” Member’s explanatory statement This amendment is consequential on the amendment in my name inserting new provisions into the Licensing Act 2003 to confer powers on the GLA and the Mayor of London.
