Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) BillContribution
We now have, in Amendment 120, a third version relating to a foundational issue in the Bill: who will determine applications for assisted dying? I am sorry, but I am not surprised that noble Lords are faced with that kind of change given the lack of pre-legislative work on the Bill. It is important to note that the impact assessment was prepared on the basis of a panel, and the Select Committee took evidence on the basis of a panel—not a judicial route, in which case we would have asked different witnesses to come.
