Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) BillContribution
Finally, removing 16 clauses—about 30% of the Bill—would potentially make this a new Bill. If this matter were not so serious, I would say that it is like saving a PDF, with versions 1, 2 and 3. We are continually reassured by the sponsor in the other place that the Bill, in the form in which it came to your Lordships’ House, had the strictest safeguards in the world, but we are now making a fundamental change to it.
