Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill

Contribution

Those two stories cannot both be true, so I support what my noble friend said. Can the Minister and the Bill’s sponsor tell us whether the Government or the judiciary provided to the Bill’s sponsors an analysis or advice, along the lines of what was reported, which drove that decision? They either did or did not. It would be helpful to have that set out. I agree with my noble friend that, if the Government provided such advice, they should publish it so that your Lordships can see for themselves what advice was provided.
