The Government therefore cannot accept Amendments 2, 9, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 23, 25, 32, 33 and 55, all of which propose consultation or referenda, or concern ongoing litigation related to those topics. That said, we of course agree with the need to support Chagossians and that they should have a greater voice in how that support is delivered.
