Diego Garcia Military Base and British Indian Ocean Territory BillContribution
This Government, recognising the importance of resettlement to many Chagossians, have agreed under the terms of the treaty that it is open to Mauritius to start a programme of resettlement to the archipelago beyond Diego Garcia. Mauritius has announced that any future programme of resettlement will be available to all eligible Chagossians, regardless of where they live.
