My Lords, I congratulate the Government on getting us back into Erasmus+, something for which many of us have been asking for a long time. I add that it is a complete myth that working-class students did not make use of Erasmus when we were previously a member of Erasmus+. I have just one question. When the new youth mobility scheme is agreed, will it be properly templated on to Erasmus so that costs, red tape and conditions are kept as low and as simple as possible to further encourage less privileged students whose career plan may want to make use of both schemes? In that sense, as the noble Baroness, Lady Royall, said, a year is surely too short a period to assess the overall interest.
