Baroness Finlay of Llandaff (CB)

Speaking in the House of Lords on 12 December 2025

Debate

Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill

Contribution

My Lords, I am grateful to those who have contributed to this discussion. I made it clear at the beginning that I was probing. I am particularly grateful to the noble Baroness, Lady Hollins, for pointing out that one of the difficulties for assessors is in knowing how reliable the information that they can access is. It seems that we need a way to make sure that people who could be particularly at risk have an enhanced level of assessment for the protections relevant to them. I am sorry; should I not be speaking now?
