Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill

19: Clause 1, page 1, line 12, at end insert “and has been so registered for at least 12 months ending with the date of the first declaration, during which time the person has been seen by a general practitioner at said practice (in appointment, consultation, or home visit) at least twice” Member’s explanatory statement This provides a simple way to check one of the aspects of ordinary residency required in paragraph (c), and ensures the person in question has been receiving medical care within the jurisdiction prior to making the request.
