The Crown Prosecution Service has issued specific guidance for prosecutors in dealing with social media-facilitated crimes such as these. We have seen no evidence that the police, CPS and courts are failing to consider the existing offences and the statutory aggravating factors available, but of course, as I have already said, I would be happy to consider any evidence and information that the noble Baroness wishes to provide on this matter.
