“I feel I’m a burden on my loved ones. I want them to have a life … There are no amendments that say that to feel like a burden is problematic. We seem okay that people might feel that they are like a burden—that is a pressure, that is duress ... The worst is when people will believe it about themselves, and that is a fear with the Bill; that people will choose it because there is no choice, because they believe they cannot have alternatives. That is terminal illness. That is terminal illness and disability”.
