Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) BillContribution
There is a problem in this Bill when we talk about being able to make a decision, because the co-ordinating doctor could be anyone. They could be at any level, with any level of experience. They do not have to be a specialist in the disease or condition that you have. They do not have to have a great deal of experience at all. Sadly, in a survey of the population done recently, 10% of people thought that assisted dying was equivalent to hospice care.
