In a previous group, my noble friend described the benefits of working with industry as we did through the responsibility deal. Will the Government, in recognition of their experience—I have had this experience myself, as a Minister—of working with the Portman Group, create space for the industry to put together this kind of self-responsibility initiative? I also ask that, before we get to Report, so that we can examine in more detail whether there is an appropriate limited statutory recognition of such an initiative, we might have discussions with the Minister and her officials to establish how the Government might respond positively to an initiative from the vaping industry.
