Public Authorities (Fraud, Error and Recovery) Bill

1A: Clause 2, page 2, line 6, leave out subsection (1) and insert— “(1) The Minister may— (a) investigate or take enforcement action in respect of suspected fraud against another public authority, or (b) recover money on behalf of another public authority, only at the request of that public authority or if the Minister considers that it is necessary in the public interest to do so.”
