Victims and Courts BillContribution
Laws like this do not change without a fight. This law is changing because we have a Prime Minister who took time to sit with me and listen to the voices of victims, and vowed to do something about it. It is because of people like Baroness Harman, the Minister for Safeguarding and Violence against Women and Girls, the Home Secretary, the Justice Secretary, the Minister for Courts and Legal Services, and Members from all across the House listening and helping me navigate to find a solution, with the Minister for Victims leading the change.
