Children who experience abuse face unique and lasting harms. Without the right specialist support, the devastating impact of childhood trauma can echo through a lifetime. Additionally, caregivers are often also traumatised. Without further support, they not only do not get the support they need but are not as able to provide the love and stability that the child they are helping needs.
