Victims and Courts BillContribution
I am proud of the Government’s work so far to strengthen the victims code and improve how the victims of these horrendous crimes are treated. But we can build on that by making sure that, wherever someone lives, they can rely on the right specialist services to help them to cope with the trauma, manage the emotional strain of the trial and rebuild their lives after it. Together, the measures in the Bill recognise that victims and their families need wraparound support, not piecemeal provision.
