Victims and Courts BillContribution
The Government have said that they will wait for the outcome of a wider review of criminal appeals before taking action. However, I want Members to be clear that the provisional view of that review is that the ULS should not be changed and that it is fine as it is. We have no timetable for when that review will be published or when the Government will respond to it, but we have a Bill in front of us that would allow us to make such changes, so now is the time to do that.
