Conservative — Bexhill and Battle

Speaking in the House of Commons on 27 October 2025

Debate

Victims and Courts Bill

Contribution

As I have said, many of the measures in the Bill are welcome, but we have to be extremely mindful that what we are doing in other proceedings in this House do not fatally undermine them and end up leaving victims feeling worse off after the positive measures that the Bill has brought forward. Question put and agreed to. Bill accordingly read the Third time and passed.
