I have received your Humble Address praying that I should appoint Mr Alan Mabbutt OBE as an Electoral Commissioner with effect from 1 May 2026 for the period ending 30 April 2030 . I will comply with your request.

The Vice-Chamberlain Of The Household reported to the House, That His Majesty, having been attended with its Address of 2nd July, was pleased to receive the same very graciously and give the following Answer:
I have received your Humble Address praying that I should appoint Michael Jary CBE to the office of Chair of the National Audit Office from 10 January 2027. I will comply with your request.
Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority
The Vice-Chamberlain Of The Household reported to the House, That His Majesty, having been attended with its Address of 13th July, was pleased to receive the same very graciously and give the following Answer:
I have received your Humble Address praying that I should appoint Richard Lloyd OBE to the office of Chair of the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority with effect from 1 September 2026 for the period ending 31 August 2029. I will comply with your request.

I have received your Humble Address praying that I should appoint Hywel Williams as an Electoral Commissioner with effect from 1 October 2026 for the period ending 30 September 2029; that I should re-appoint Chris Ruane as an Electoral Commissioner with effect from 1 November 2026 for the period ending 31 October 2030; and that I should re-appoint Sheila Ritchie as an Electoral Commissioner with effect from 1 February 2027 for the period ending 31 January 2031. I will comply with your request.
