That this House notes 75 years of Comber Brass Band; highlights the 37 committed members that rehearse every Wednesday alongside their musical director Paul Hamilton; underlines the origins of the band go back to as far as 1900, when it was then known as the 2nd Comber Boys Brigade Flute band; further notes the transition to Comber Amateur Silver Band came in 1949; further highlights the extremely busy nature of the band with contests and concerts all year round, including the privilege of playing for Royalty over the years; thanks the band for their consistent engagement with the local community; and wishes them all the very best for the future.
