ABSTENTIONS ON DIVISION ON THE COMMONHOLD AND LEASEHOLD REFORM BILL

That this House notes that there is no procedure for the recording of abstentions on divisions but that the honourable Members signing this motion abstained on the division on Amendment 2 proposed to the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Bill because whereas the Bill failed to propose a simple majority vote for the establishment of commonhold, the Amendment also set too high a threshold at 75 per cent.
