ACCOMMODATION FOR RESIDENTIAL CARE TELEVISION LICENCE SCHEME

Motion Text

That this House notes the anomalies of the accommodation for residential care concessionary television licence scheme for people who live in sheltered housing complexes; recommends that the Government publish a timetable concerning their ongoing discussions with the BBC; and urges the Government fully to recognise the absurdity of people living in sheltered accommodation paying different licence fees if their accommodation does not have a common and exclusive boundary.
