AD TERMINOLOGY AND THE BBC

That this House calls upon the BBC to reaffirm its use of the AD Anno Domini terminology instead of the more recent term of CE which stands for Common Era; expresses concern that the terminology CE was used on the Christmas Special of University Challenge; and opposes any change to the uniformed use of AD in public bodies.
