ASYLUM SEEKERS AND THEIR CHILDREN

Motion Text

That this House notes with concern the significant rise in the number of asylum seekers in Britain in the last six years; condemns the Government's policy of taking the children of asylum seekers into care to persuade them to return home; believes this policy to be inhumane and degrading; and urges the Government to abandon this policy at the earliest opportunity.
