Balance disorders

Motion Text

That this House recognises the needs of those with balance disorders such as Persistent Postural-Perceptual Dizziness, Bilateral Vestibular Failure and Oscillopsia; notes the need to raise awareness of these disorders; calls on the Government to establish regional Centres of Excellence to assist in the treatment of balance disorders; and acknowledges the necessity of improving triage times for General Practice in order to allow for faster referral, diagnosis and treatment, particularly through signposting information and organisations for sufferers.
