BLANCHE NEVILE SCHOOL, HARINGEY
Motion Text
That this House recognises that Blanche Nevile School is an exemplar model for educating deaf children, achieving both special education and inclusion, that the staff are invaluable to the children and that the children are well-educated both academically and socially at the school with its unique location on shared sites with mainstream primary and secondary schools; condemns Haringey Council for its attempt to close down the school; and calls on Haringey Council to work with governors, parents and staff to ensure that deaf children in North London get the best possible education.
