Carleith Primary School and Early Learning and Childcare Centre inspection sucess

Motion Text

That this House congratulates Carleith Primary School and its Early Learning and Childcare Centre (ELCC) on receiving an outstanding inspection report; notes that the school was rated excellent for learning, teaching and assessment, and very good for raising attainment and achievement; further notes that the ELCC was graded very good across all areas, including curriculum, learning, teaching and assessment, and wellbeing, inclusion and equality; recognises the strong and effective leadership of the senior leadership team, whose clear vision for high quality learning is shared across the school community; acknowledges the commitment of staff in providing dynamic learning experiences and supporting children to understand and celebrate their achievements; welcomes inspectors’ findings that pupils are polite, engaged and highly motivated, reflecting a positive environment focused on continuous improvement and the best outcomes for every child; congratulates the Head Teacher, Mr John McDonald, on his excellent leadership; and wishes Carleith’s pupils and staff all the best for the future.
