CHARITIES SUPPORTING 2015 FLOOD VICTIMS

Motion Text

That this House congratulates all charities that support people who are struggling due to unforeseen circumstances; further congratulates in particular CancerCare and Age UK South Lakeland for their help in supporting the victims of Storm Desmond last year; recognises the positive impact such support has had on people who have suffered as a result of the floods; and thanks the Community Cumbria Foundation for providing funds to allow these charities to carry out such support in Cumbria.
