CHILD SAFETY AND PONDS

That this House notes the number of tragic deaths caused through young children drowning in garden ponds; and calls on the Government to initiate a campaign through the national media and to work with DIY stores and garden centres to highlight the potential dangers of ponds and water features in relation to young children.
