That this House congratulates Chris Hoy on his win as BBC Sports Personality of the Year; believes this award, following his triple gold triumph as Scotland's greatest Olympian to date, is richly deserved; and recognises Chris Hoy as an outstanding competitor and a great ambassador for Scotland on the world stage, displaying true grit and fine sportsmanship in equal measure.
