CLOSURE OF POST OFFICES IN ROMFORD

That this House deplores the decision by Post Office Ltd to disregard totally the views of the people of Romford by announcing the closure of Ardleigh Green post office, Rise Park post office, Maidstone Avenue post office, Gidea Park post office, Mawneys post office and Upper Mawneys post office; and calls upon the Government to intervene to reverse this deplorable decision which will leave thousands of residents in Romford without access to a local community post office.
