Conduct of the Hon Member for Workington

Motion Text

That this House regards with disdain and disapproval the use, by the honourable Member for Workington, of the privilege of the House by using live television coverage of the Chamber, when he had been specifically ruled out of order in a standing committee of the House, to attack the character of another honourable Member; and accordingly calls upon the Select Committee on the Televising of the House to review the terms upon which the Chamber and committees are televised to seek to prevent further similar uses of the proceedings of the House.
