leave out from 'House' to end and add 'regards Economic and Monetary Union as a devious method of creating a politically unified Europe by stealth; believes that it will undermine the system of free parliamentary democracies on which European peace depends; but takes comfort from the fears of federalist honourable Members that mere speeches by the Leader of the Opposition and other opponents of EMU will be enough to bring it down.'.
