Cost of Living Support from St Andrews University

Motion Text

That this House welcomes the comprehensive steps which the University of St Andrews and their Student’s Association are taking to support their students, staff, and community during the cost of living crisis; and notes that these steps include reduced bus fares, increases to the university’s student discretionary funds, a £500 cost-of-living payment to all staff, uplifts to postgraduate research stipends, an increase to the university’s living wage, and a discount on meals in all of their university cafés.
