leave out from 'House' to end and add' welcomes the renewed efforts on the part of the Secretary General of the United Nations to promote negotiations to reach a settlement in Cyprus; regrets inflammatory statements that are designed to foster discord rather than harmony between the communities on the Island; and urges Her Majesty's Government to join with the Government of the United States in seeking a solution that is fair and equitable to all Cypriots.
