DEATH OF VANDANA PATEL

Motion Text

That this House is alarmed at the death of Vandana Patel whilst in Stoke Newington Police Station on 29th April, after officers of the Domestic Violence Unit left her alone and unprotected with Mr Patel, who later stabbed her; and notes that a public inquiry should be held into her death, and a review carried out into the practices of police domestic violence units.
