DEBATE ON THE TERROISM ACT 2000 ORDER

Motion Text

That this House believes that the Affirmative Order procedure is wholly inapropriate for discussion of the Terrorism Act 2000 (Proscribed Organisations) (Amendment) Order 2001; and notes that, under this Order, 21 organisations would be banned and that honourable Members will be asked to approve the Order without being able to amend it or that due to the one and a half hour limit to the debate there will be insufficient discussion about the peace process in any of the countries from which the organisations emanate.
