DERIAN HOUSE PICTURES IN THE PARK CONCERT

Motion Text

That this House congratulates Derian House Children's Hospice for organising the fundraising concert entitled Pictures in the Park, held at Astley Park in Chorley; pays tribute to the fantastic performance given by the Liverpool Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, who performed various well known movie soundtracks; recognises the importance of raising funds for Derian House Children's Hospice in order to allow the hospice to care for children from across the North West; and calls on the Government to ensure that funding provided through the NHS to hospices is increased in order to provide them with a long-term viable future.
