That this House welcomes the Amicus-hosted conference on the Distribution Price Review 2005; notes the serious issues of national significance that the event dealt with; and calls for the outcome of the Distribution Price Review 2005 to reward distribution network operators whose policy objectives include increased investment in the network system, increased productivity of their employees through personal development programmes, maintaining a direct labour force and making a reasonable profit, whilst giving value for money, security and quality of supply to the consumer.
