That this House notes with concern the lack of transparency from companies selling electricity; expresses grave concern regarding over-aggressive sales tactics and the use of small print to disguise the full cost of their respective electricity packages; further notes the lack of clarity on electricity bills sent to customers with many people finding it difficult to account for the total cost of the bill; and calls on all companies selling electricity to be open and transparent in their pricing policy and provide clear breakdowns on electricity bills.
