ENFORCED DISAPPEARANCES DURING THE 1992-1995 WAR IN BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

Motion Text

That this House expresses concern about the enforced disappearances of between 10,000 and 12,000 people during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina between 1992 and 1995; condemns the continuing impunity for these enforced disappearances and other violations of human rights and international humanitarian law; praises Amnesty International for its campaign for justice for those affected by these atrocities; and calls on the Government to encourage the authorities to take meaningful steps to bring those responsible for these enforced disappearances to justice.
