FREE AND FAIR ELECTIONS IN PALESTINE

Motion Text

That this House recognises the high significance of the forthcoming Palestinian elections in January to the Middle East process; calls upon the Israeli government to do every in its power to allow the democratic process in Palestine to continue unobstructed; and notes that this can only continue if Israel allows freedom of movement for all Palestinians to participate by ending closures of voter registration centres, Israeli army incursions, curfews, continued building of the wall and checkpoints.
