Free hospital parking

Motion Text

That this House thanks NHS staff for their dedication to public health and extraordinary service through the Coronavirus pandemic; notes that many NHS staff have faced a real terms pay cut since 2010; notes that NHS staff, patients and visitors ordinarily have to pay significant sums for hospital car parking; welcomes the decision to halt car parking charges for NHS staff in England during the Coronavirus pandemic; is disappointed that the Government has announced that free hospital parking will end for NHS staff in England once the Coronavirus pandemic begins to ease; and calls on the Government to make parking free at NHS hospitals for NHS staff, patients, and visitors.
